Worked on the kubev2v/forklift repository to enhance observability and client behavior by implementing a User-Agent header in the Pure Storage REST client. This feature enables improved request tracking, auditing, and traceability across deployments, supporting more effective debugging and compliance with operational standards. The solution was developed using Go and focused on backend and API development, ensuring that each REST call includes a dedicated User-Agent string for better identification in logs. The work aligned with release and versioning practices, aiding reproducibility in troubleshooting scenarios. No bugs were addressed during this period, with efforts concentrated on this targeted enhancement.
