Worked on the pinterest/ray repository to expand deployment flexibility by implementing Azure Blob Storage URI support within the runtime_env dependencies system. This feature enables Ray users to resolve dependencies directly from Azure Blob Storage, supporting reproducible environments and smoother Azure-based workflows. The technical approach involved updating protocol management to correctly handle Azure URIs and revising documentation to reflect these enhancements. The work was completed using Python and focused on backend development and cloud storage integration, with attention to DevOps practices. No major bugs were reported during this period, as the efforts centered on feature delivery and foundational Azure integration.
