Worked on the jetstack-secure repository to enhance Kubernetes automation and data workflows, focusing on OpenShift route management and robust API integrations. Addressed permissions issues by updating cluster roles for OpenShift routes and improved configuration parsing to reduce misconfigurations. Developed features for data upload APIs, aligning payloads with inventory requirements and implementing checksum algorithms such as SHA-256 and SHA3-256 to ensure data integrity. Extended Kubernetes data collection to capture detailed metadata for Secrets and Routes, supporting better observability. Utilized Go, Kubernetes, and Helm, emphasizing reliable backend development, debugging, and testing practices to strengthen automation, security, and operational efficiency.
