During March 2026, Wath Dev developed an end-to-end Google Photos integration for the immich-app/static-pages repository, enabling automated synchronization of shared albums into Immich using the gPhotos2Immich tool. The solution incorporated automatic scheduling and deduplication, addressing the challenge of keeping photo libraries up to date without manual intervention. Wath Dev implemented Docker deployment support to streamline both production and testing environments, ensuring ease of adoption for users. The work was completed in Go, with comprehensive documentation updates to guide the community in leveraging the new integration. This contribution demonstrated depth in backend integration, deployment automation, and technical communication.
