Worked on the acryldata/datahub-helm repository to enhance the OIDC authentication flow, focusing on improving login reliability across diverse deployment environments. Addressed redirect_uri authentication failures by ensuring the AUTH_OIDC_BASE_URL dynamically includes the frontend basePath when required, and introduced an oidcBaseUrl override to support environment-specific configurations. Utilized Helm and Kubernetes for deployment flexibility, with changes implemented primarily in YAML. The update included bumping the Helm chart version to 0.8.23, supporting reproducibility and stability. This work provided a more robust authentication mechanism and streamlined configuration management, reflecting a targeted approach to DevOps and frontend integration within cloud-native environments.
