Delivered a critical bug fix to restore Import Plugin Version Handling for InfluxDB by reverting changes that impacted database/table retrieval logic, reinstating expected behavior across InfluxDB versions. This fix prevents data import failures, improves reliability for cross-version usage, and reduces ticket volume related to import path correctness. No new features were shipped in this period; emphasis was on bug resolution, code quality, and maintainability.

March 2026: Implemented InfluxDB v2 API support in the influxdb3_plugins repo by refactoring database and table retrieval logic to align with the latest API, improving compatibility and migration readiness. Addressed a plugin import issue with a targeted fix (commit bcae93a41aafb0b9f5801ae9fbaf247e8ae2c490), stabilizing plugin workflows. This work enhances interoperability, reduces upgrade risk, and strengthens the plugin ecosystem for customers upgrading to InfluxDB v2.

In November 2025, focused on strengthening docs UX for Admin UI in influxdata/docs-v2. Delivered Admin UI Documentation Enhancement: inline guidance for Admin UI usage and consolidated access/navigation guidance; macro-based intro for InfluxDB Cloud Dedicated Admin UI to unify content across docs. Implemented via commits 365a1c1c235d8a6a322649257b933878ce594150 and 4e71b963d6b6db01b89ef5dc5351b84e2b7ec9f2. There were no major bugs fixed in this repository this month. Result: improved user guidance, consistency, and maintainability; reduced duplication, enabling faster onboarding and fewer support queries.
