Worked on enhancing the stability and maintainability of media handling within the OrchardCMS/OrchardCore repository, focusing on backend development using C#. Addressed a memory management issue by implementing a fix that ensures proper disposal of media streams after writing, thereby preventing potential memory leaks during media deployment. Simplified the disposal logic by removing nested asynchronous using blocks, which reduced complexity and minimized the risk of resource leaks. Collaborated closely with other contributors to strengthen code quality and clarify ownership of changes. This work improved the reliability and memory footprint of media operations, demonstrating attention to resource management and robust backend engineering practices.
