Worked on the spring-projects/spring-ai repository, delivering a governance-focused feature for the SimpleVectorStore component. Developed support for document deletion by filter, enabling targeted cleanup of documents through filter expressions to enhance data governance and compliance. The implementation involved Java and the Spring Framework, with a strong emphasis on unit testing to ensure reliability and maintainability. This work established a foundation for future improvements in data lifecycle management within vector stores. The approach demonstrated adherence to open-source collaboration practices, including clear commit documentation and alignment with code review standards, positioning the codebase for safer and more flexible data governance capabilities.
