Wenxing Hou enhanced the Dasharo/edk2 repository by integrating SHA3 and SM3 cryptographic function support into the MbedTLS library, leveraging OpenSSL-backed implementations. This work focused on improving security and interoperability by adopting modern cryptographic primitives while maintaining compatibility with existing CryptoPkg APIs. Wenxing utilized C programming and embedded systems expertise to ensure tight integration and minimal disruption to the codebase, with clear commit traceability throughout the process. Although no major bugs were addressed during this period, the feature delivered standards-compliant cryptography, strengthening the security posture of Dasharo/edk2 and supporting broader platform compatibility through robust cryptographic enhancements.
