During October 2025, Wera focused on enhancing localization within the PHPMailer/PHPMailer repository by refining and expanding Norwegian Bokmål translations. Working primarily in PHP, Wera identified missing strings and improved existing translations in the phpmailer.lang-nb.php file, directly addressing gaps that affected Norwegian-speaking developers and end users. This targeted update improved accessibility and usability for a broader international audience, supporting PHPMailer’s adoption in Norwegian contexts. The work demonstrated a practical application of localization and translation skills, with attention to linguistic accuracy and technical integration. While no bugs were fixed during this period, the contribution added depth to PHPMailer’s language support.
