Developed a robust development environment for the apache/kvrocks repository, focusing on streamlining onboarding and ensuring consistency across platforms. The work centered on creating a Dockerfile and DevContainer configuration, enabling developers to spin up a standardized containerized workspace with all necessary build tools, languages, and utilities pre-installed. Leveraging skills in build systems, containerization, and DevOps, the implementation also included setting up a local certificate authority to facilitate secure local development and testing. By aligning local development with containerized workflows, this contribution improved CI parity and made it easier for new contributors to get started with Kvrocks development.
