During February 2026, work on the dso-toolkit/dso-toolkit repository focused on enhancing documentation clarity and component configurability within a React-based design system. Two major features were delivered: one improved Storybook documentation by preserving component names in source displays and enabling dynamic JSX rendering, which supports better traceability and developer experience. The other introduced flexible badge and label customization for the Document Component, replacing hardcoded properties with generic props to support configurable text, status, and tooltips, and laying groundwork for localization. All development was carried out using JavaScript, TypeScript, and React, with an emphasis on component design and front end development.
