Worked on enhancing file upload functionality in the agno-agi/agno repository, focusing on expanding compatibility for common business document formats. Addressed user needs by adding MIME type support for .msg, .xlsx, and .xls files, enabling seamless uploads and reducing friction in document workflows. Utilized Python for backend and API development, ensuring reliable data handling and improved user experience. The technical approach involved identifying and resolving missing MIME-type mappings that previously caused upload failures, which in turn reduced support overhead. This targeted feature work contributed to more robust file submission processes and streamlined document management for users of the AgentOS platform.
