Worked on improving test-suite reliability and MTIA configuration compatibility for the pytorch-labs/helion repository. Addressed a specific issue where an incompatible test case, test_matmul_smaller_than_min_dot_size, caused failures under the MTIA configuration. The solution involved implementing a Python-based adjustment to skip this test when MTIA was detected, thereby reducing CI flakiness and ensuring smoother nightly test runs. Collaborated with other contributors to ensure the change was well-documented and traceable. Focused on Python and testing best practices, the work enhanced continuous integration stability by isolating hardware-specific incompatibilities and maintaining reliable automated testing for the helion codebase.
