Focused on backend development and data integration, the work involved mapping fields such as user.name and user_agent.original to their ECS counterparts using JSON and YAML, which improved data accuracy and dashboard reliability. Addressed a key bug by ensuring that normalization processes preserved essential connection data, resulting in more accurate analytics and reduced troubleshooting for downstream dashboards. The changes emphasized log management best practices and contributed to clearer, more maintainable code with improved auditability for security features.
