During their two-month contribution to shykes/dagger, Wingyminus focused on enhancing SDK observability and developer workflows. They implemented distributed tracing by adding TRACEPARENT header support to the Elixir and PHP SDKs, improving visibility into GraphQL requests and TUI workflows. Using Elixir and Go, they introduced a generate function to streamline API surface creation and centralized container initialization, reducing code duplication. Their work also included refining the Elixir SDK development environment with new tooling and linting, as well as fixing path normalization bugs for consistent API behavior. Additionally, they improved install script reliability through targeted shell scripting maintenance.
