During July 2025, Wip44850 focused on resolving a critical bug in the magento/inventory repository, addressing the Product Add-to-Cart Website Assignment issue that affected inventory and sales tracking across multiple websites. By analyzing the REST API’s handling of product-website associations, Wip44850 implemented a targeted PHP fix to ensure accurate attribution during the add-to-cart process. To reinforce reliability, they developed a supporting test data fixture, enhancing regression coverage and preventing future discrepancies. This work demonstrated proficiency in API development, Magento, and testing, resulting in restored checkout reliability and improved analytics for multi-website environments. The contribution was precise and well-documented.
