Addressed a parsing issue by preventing redundant removal of node patches, which enhanced both performance and data integrity. Additionally, improved type safety by ensuring that parse-time nodes’ raw_code defaulted to an empty string, thereby avoiding None-related runtime errors when block contents were absent. These changes reduced downstream errors and contributed to more robust data processing. The work was implemented using Python and leveraged backend development and software engineering skills to strengthen the reliability of the parsing infrastructure.
