Worked on the jeejeelee/vllm repository, focusing on test infrastructure and dependency management over a two-month period. Delivered a refactor of test utilities by relocating the shuffle_weight function into a dedicated utils module, which improved test organization and enabled greater reusability across cases. Later, addressed dependency management by upgrading the fastsafetensors package to version 0.3.2 and replacing a git-based ROCm installation with a PyPI-based approach, streamlining setup and enhancing reproducibility. These contributions, implemented using Python and leveraging skills in software engineering and infrastructure, reduced maintenance overhead and laid the foundation for more modular and maintainable project workflows.
