Worked on security-focused maintenance for the owncloud/ocis repository, addressing a vulnerability related to temporary file handling. Upgraded the Govips dependency to version 2.16.0, which removed unnecessary access to the /tmp directory that had been introduced by earlier versions. This change eliminated a potential security risk and improved overall system stability without introducing any user-facing features. The work involved careful dependency management and a strong understanding of Go Modules and C programming, ensuring that the upgrade integrated smoothly with the existing codebase.
