Developed a new Spring Boot 4.0 Flyway Starter Recipe for the openrewrite/rewrite-spring repository, focusing on modularity and adaptive autoconfiguration based on dependency usage. Leveraged Java and Spring Boot to implement dependency preconditions and compatibility logic, ensuring that modular starters are included automatically as needed. Enhanced compatibility across Flyway versions by introducing wildcard-based dependency matching and created a migration recipe to streamline the transition to modular starters. Refactored and stabilized unit tests, relocating them for improved maintainability, and updated recipe sequencing to accommodate changes in Flyway-core dependencies. The work emphasized robust dependency management and future-proofed the Flyway integration.
