During November 2024, Woof Uyelik enhanced the primefaces/primevue repository by refining its UI Kit to improve design-system consistency and streamline the design-to-development handoff. Woof focused on renaming themes from Lara Light/Dark to Aura Light/Dark, updating the features list with variables, and documenting token guidance for primitive, semantic, and component tokens. The work included updating Figma previews and linking the UI component showcase to new design file versions, with a dedicated dark theme preview to support multiple visual modes. This front end development effort, using Vue.js and Figma integrations, addressed design ambiguity and improved developer experience without introducing bug fixes.
