Developed and delivered FortiGate 70G device configuration support for the netbox-community/devicetype-library repository, focusing on standardizing Fortinet device provisioning. The work centered on authoring YAML definitions to capture airflow type, power draw, and interface types, ensuring alignment with existing device-type models for consistent onboarding across environments. Leveraged skills in YAML, device configuration, and networking to implement version-controlled changes, facilitating more reliable and efficient device management. No major bugs were addressed during this period, with efforts concentrated on feature delivery and technical accuracy. The contribution improved the speed and reliability of Fortinet device configuration within the broader NetBox ecosystem.
