During March 2025, contributed to the tenstorrent/tt-xla repository by developing a temporary Shardy dialect roundtrip import pass within MLIR. This solution enabled roundtrip import from the Shardy dialect to StableHLO, providing a practical workflow for testing and validation while native Shardy support is under development in OpenXLA. The approach served as a stopgap integration, reducing risk to the release and testing schedule by maintaining Shardy workflow continuity. Work was implemented in C++ and leveraged expertise in compiler development and intermediate representation, with clear documentation and commit traceability to support future migration to native OpenXLA Shardy support.
