Worked on the Vertical-Farming-IB3/Plan-T repository to establish robust PCB asset management and enhance IoT device configuration for the Plantenbak hardware. Over two months, set up version-controlled documentation workflows using YAML, enabling traceable hardware asset integration and repository hygiene. Delivered hardware reconfiguration by renaming devices, updating API encryption and OTA passwords, and refining sensor accuracy for soil moisture and current monitoring. Added outputs for fan, valve, and onboard LED with template switches to support flexible automation, and introduced a power consumption sensor for energy tracking. Focused on embedded systems configuration and IoT device management to improve security and observability.
