Addressed a critical issue in the setup pipeline by correcting a bash condition, ensuring the DuckDB build triggers reliably and improving CI stability. Introduced optional GEOS dependency and established groundwork for Geometry Presto type support, integrating these features into the build system and type registration process. Fixed Parquet reader parsing to handle Hive-specific reserved keywords, adding comprehensive tests and sample data. Leveraged C++, CMake, and Shell scripting to improve data ingestion reliability and enable future geospatial and Parquet-based analytics within the Velox project.
