Worked on enhancing the stability and maintainability of the aws/smithy-go repository by focusing on dependency management and bug resolution. Addressed a critical issue by upgrading SDK module versions, which improved compatibility and reduced operational risk for downstream services. Utilized Go and version control best practices to ensure a smooth integration path, validating the release with comprehensive CI checks. The targeted update, published under the Release 2025-06-16 tag, strengthened the reliability of the Smithy-Go SDK components. This work emphasized careful dependency upgrades and thorough validation, contributing to a more robust foundation for services relying on the Smithy-Go SDK.
