Wuyanxing focused on backend development and bug fixing in the crossoverJie/starrocks repository, addressing a memory management issue in the CatalogRecycleBin component. By ensuring completed table and partition deletion tasks were properly removed from internal tracking maps, Wuyanxing reduced high memory usage during cleanup operations. The solution, implemented in Java, included the addition of test helper methods to verify the removal of completed tasks, thereby improving the robustness of memory management tests. This work enhanced the stability and reliability of the recycle bin’s memory handling, supporting safer future changes and reducing the risk of memory-related issues during bulk deletions.
