Worked on the apache/paimon repository over a two-month period, focusing on targeted bug fixes to improve data processing reliability and system stability. Addressed a core issue in Nested Update Aggregations by trimming whitespace from key field names, which enhanced the correctness of update-aggregation logic and reduced downstream processing errors. Later, resolved a critical dependency problem in S3 file transfers by adding the S3 Transfer Manager, eliminating ObjectTransfer ClassNotFoundException and ensuring stable S3-based workflows. Utilized Java, Core Java, and AWS SDK, demonstrating effective dependency management and a methodical approach to isolating changes for maintainability and future release readiness.
