Worked on modernizing packaging metadata for the Travel Concierge project within the google/adk-samples repository, focusing on aligning with PEP 621 standards. The effort centered on migrating the pyproject.toml configuration to standardize project metadata and streamline dependency management using Python. This approach reduced build-related risks and laid the foundation for more reliable and reproducible builds, supporting easier onboarding for new contributors and facilitating smoother cross-team collaboration. Emphasizing project configuration and dependency management, the work prepared the project for future CI/CD integration and improved maintainability. No bugs were addressed during this period, with all efforts dedicated to feature development.
