Worked on the wordpress-mobile/WordPress-Android repository to enhance CI/CD stability and streamline dependency management processes. Focused on improving the reliability of pull request builds by updating the Dependabot configuration, specifically to ignore Automattic dependencies that do not follow semantic versioning. This adjustment, implemented using YAML, reduced false positives and minimized unnecessary CI noise, allowing for more predictable and efficient release cycles. No major bugs were reported during this period, as the work centered on configuration-level improvements rather than application code changes. The approach demonstrated a practical application of CI/CD principles and dependency management best practices within a large mobile project.
