Worked on improving the stability of the ReportTree component in the Ericsson/codechecker repository, focusing on scenarios involving large result sets. Addressed a bug where ReportTree could become stuck in a loading state when the number of reports exceeded the MAX_QUERY_SIZE threshold. The solution involved converting a Thrift constant to a numeric value before performing comparisons, ensuring accurate handling of large datasets. Utilized Vue.js and JavaScript to implement the fix, demonstrating careful debugging and attention to cross-language data consistency. This work enhanced the reliability of front end analysis feedback for developers and reviewers working with substantial codebases in the project.
