Worked on the freifunk-berlin/bbb-configs repository to deliver a site onboarding configuration for the Bissing location, focusing on scalable infrastructure management and network configuration. Developed a comprehensive YAML-based template that standardizes parameters such as network topology, device roles, hostnames, and IP assignments for mesh, DHCP, and management networks. Integrated IPv6 readiness and SNMP device configuration to enhance operational readiness and device manageability. The approach established a repeatable workflow for onboarding new sites, ensuring consistency across deployments. No bugs were addressed during this period, with efforts concentrated on feature delivery and automation of site provisioning processes using infrastructure-as-code principles.
