Worked on repository hygiene within the ibhagwan/void-packages repository by correcting package metadata for the xmobar template. Addressed a bug where the maintainer field did not accurately reflect the orphaned status, updating it to prevent confusion and misrouted support requests. This change aligned the package’s metadata with current ownership, improving clarity for both maintainers and users. Utilized Nix for package management and demonstrated proficiency in Git-based workflows to ensure compliance with Void Linux packaging standards. The work focused on maintaining accurate package information, reducing support overhead, and enhancing the reliability of metadata across the repository’s package templates.
