Developed and delivered federated group sharing capabilities across the nextcloud/android and nextcloud/android-library repositories, enabling users to share files and resources with federated groups as a new share type. The work involved designing and integrating core data models, updating UI components, and implementing remote data handling to support federation-oriented workflows and governance. Leveraging Java and Kotlin, the developer focused on API integration and backend development to ensure seamless identification and processing of federated group shares within the system. This foundational work established end-to-end support for federated group collaboration, aligning with the platform’s broader goals for enhanced mobile collaboration features.
