During February 2025, Jiaxd developed foundational unit testing capabilities for the source-academy/modules repository, focusing on improving the reliability and maintainability of React components. They implemented a unit testing framework using JavaScript and TypeScript, introducing comprehensive test suites and assertions to ensure robust component behavior. Jiaxd also updated the ESLint configuration to better support React testing workflows, which reduced lint failures and streamlined onboarding for new contributors. By integrating these tools and practices, Jiaxd enabled faster feedback cycles and higher code quality. The work demonstrated a solid understanding of ESLint, React Testing, and unit testing principles within a modern JavaScript codebase.
