Contributed to the nix-community/home-manager repository by advancing Russian localization, focusing on improving accessibility for Russian-speaking users. Leveraged internationalization and localization skills to translate 93.7% of Russian strings using the PO file format and Weblate, collaborating with other contributors to co-author commits and refine the localization workflow. The work enhanced the project’s readiness for broader adoption by establishing a more robust translation process and integrating open-source collaboration practices. Although no bugs were fixed during this period, the contribution addressed a key usability gap and aligned with the project’s internationalization strategy, demonstrating depth in translation and workflow optimization.
