Developed and integrated the JSON Tool Language Server as a new extension for the Zed editor within the zed-industries/extensions repository. This work involved updating submodule configuration and the extension registry using git to ensure seamless exposure of JSON-specific language server capabilities. Focused on configuration management and submodules, the implementation enabled enhanced editor intelligence and improved JSON tooling workflows for users. The integration was validated within the Zed Editor environment, allowing language-server features to be leveraged for JSON files. Over the course of the month, the developer concentrated on feature delivery, emphasizing maintainable workflows and robust configuration practices without addressing bug fixes.
