During September 2025, Hyro focused on dependency maintenance within the ibhagwan/void-packages repository, delivering an update to core Ruby tooling by upgrading rbenv to version 1.3.2 and ruby-build to 20250916.1. This work involved careful version pinning, checksum validation, and release automation using Shell scripting and package management skills. By updating checksums and ensuring the integrity of new releases, Hyro improved build reproducibility and maintained compatibility with downstream tooling and CI pipelines. Although the scope was limited to a single feature and no bugs were addressed, the update contributed to the ongoing reliability and security of the package ecosystem.
