Worked on the bioconda/bioconda-recipes repository to deliver two major enhancements focused on bioinformatics software packaging. Updated the Paraphase Bioconda recipe to version 4.0.0, revising the source URL, build script, and license details to improve reproducibility and ensure licensing compliance. Added a new Bioconda recipe for Kivvi Genotyper, enabling HiFi-based VNTR genotyping for KIV2 and D4Z4 loci. Employed skills in Python packaging, YAML, and recipe management to align with Bioconda standards. The work expanded the repository’s capabilities, supporting more robust and reproducible workflows for users without introducing new bugs during the development period.
