Using Scala and Spark, Shuaihu resolved a NullPointerException that occurred when max or min aggregations encountered null values within data splits. By implementing robust null-value handling, the fix ensured that aggregation functions could gracefully process missing data, reducing runtime errors and improving pipeline reliability.
