Developed and deployed a watcher-based logging solution for the openshift-pipelines/tektoncd-results repository, focusing on enhancing observability and centralized log management within the Tekton results pipeline. The work involved creating a dedicated watcher.yaml component to standardize logging configuration and applying a kustomize patch to integrate the watcher deployment into the existing Kubernetes setup. Using DevOps practices and YAML, the implementation improved the reliability of log file initialization and provided a unified approach to logging controls. This feature addressed the need for consistent log management, supporting more maintainable operations and streamlined troubleshooting across the pipeline without introducing any bug fixes.
