Xinnjie worked on the openshift-pipelines/tektoncd-results repository, delivering a watcher-based logging deployment to improve observability and log file management within the Tekton results pipeline. Using DevOps practices and Kubernetes, Xinnjie implemented a kustomize patch to integrate the watcher deployment and created a dedicated watcher.yaml component to standardize logging configuration. The solution centralized log initialization and provided more reliable logging controls, addressing the need for consistent log file setup. The work focused on infrastructure as code, leveraging yaml for configuration and deployment. Over the course of the month, Xinnjie contributed one feature, demonstrating depth in Kubernetes-based logging solutions.
