The engineering effort centered on streamlining the API by removing unnecessary attributes and introducing options for configurable window sizes, allowing for more flexible model behavior. Addressed potential misconfigurations by correcting keyword-argument handling, which improved the robustness of the module. Comprehensive documentation was added through detailed docstrings and usage notes, supporting better developer onboarding and maintenance. The work was implemented in Python, leveraging skills in machine learning, natural language processing, and unit testing to ensure reliability and clarity in the updated codebase.
