During February 2025, Lixie worked on the Esri/arcgis-python-api repository, focusing on code quality improvements within the editing-features.ipynb notebook. Lixie implemented a targeted refactor in Python, standardizing variable naming by renaming ports_layer to ports_flayer throughout the notebook. This change aimed to enhance code readability and maintainability, making it easier for contributors to understand and extend the codebase. The work emphasized code readability and refactoring best practices, with no major bug fixes addressed during this period.
