Developed and delivered a CodeSystem Lookup Enhancement for the samply/blaze repository, introducing a new $lookup operation to the terminology service. This feature enabled efficient code-based queries within CodeSystem resources, improving both code retrieval performance and interoperability for downstream clients. The implementation focused on API development using Clojure and adhered to FHIR standards, ensuring the new operation integrated smoothly with existing backend systems. Comprehensive test coverage and interface updates were included to maintain reliability and stability. The work addressed a specific feature request, resulting in faster and more reliable code lookups that support enhanced integration for client applications relying on terminology services.
