Developed and delivered an automated year-based Docker image tagging system for the skkuding/codedang repository, enhancing deployment workflows across the client-api, admin-api, and iris services. The solution introduced a year.number versioning scheme, such as 2025.1, paired with commit SHA traceability to ensure consistent release management and robust audit trails. Leveraging CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and GitHub Actions, the implementation streamlined cross-service deployments and improved rollback safety. The work was accomplished using Bash and YAML for shell scripting and configuration, focusing on automation and traceability without addressing major bugs during the period. This feature improved deployment reliability and operational transparency.
