Worked on stabilizing the site search experience for the MoviePilot repository by addressing critical issues in cookie handling and session management that affected login and search reliability. Focused on backend development using Python, the work involved debugging and correcting URL decoding in cookie parsing and ensuring that httpx’s AsyncClient maintained proper cookie state to prevent session overwrites. This fix restored search functionality across multiple sites, including PT and Spring, and improved user session reliability in high-traffic scenarios. Comprehensive testing and cross-site validation were performed to ensure the solution’s robustness, demonstrating strong skills in API integration and asynchronous programming.
