Worked on the facebook/fbthrift repository to deliver a feature enhancing PrivacyLib RPC policy propagation and dynamic policy enforcement. Focused on backend development using PHP and Thrift, the work involved propagating service and method context within RPC policies to support improved reclassification and reduce misclassification risks during runtime. Implemented explicit policy retrieval through Thrift context, enabling more precise and dynamic policy enforcement. Added support for dynamic policy context in ThriftPolicyZoneModuleContext and PendingStandardization, allowing explicit dynamic annotations and facilitating cross-framework standardization. This consolidated PrivacyLib RPC policy handling across frameworks, strengthening overall policy enforcement and improving maintainability within the codebase.
