Updated the code review and release configuration process in hashicorp/consul by reassigning ownership in the CODEOWNERS file, which streamlined review workflows and clarified team responsibilities. In hashicorp/consul-k8s, delivered topology zone metadata integration for Kubernetes-to-Consul service synchronization, enabling location-aware routing and improved failure-domain awareness in multi-zone deployments. Leveraged Go, YAML, and Kubernetes to implement these features, emphasizing cloud native practices and robust DevOps workflows. The work addressed maintainability and advanced service discovery without introducing new bug fixes during the period.
